Update November 21, 2022: We now have a closer look at the upcoming Run the Jewels x Nike SB collaboration featuring both the SB Dunk High and SB Dunk Low. The release is expected to arrive on April 20 to coincide with 4/20.

American hip hop super-duo Run the Jewels are reportedly set to get their very own Nike SB collaboration, rappers El-P and Killer Mike teaming up with the Swoosh for a version of the SB Dunk High and SB Dunk Low.

While we still only have an early look at the design, it looks like the collaboration will involve the heavy use of blue on the leather overlays, while pink graces the Swoosh and sockliners. In terms of branding, Run the Jewels’ ‘stick-up’ logos are emblazoned on the heel. The design also pays homage to the relationship between EL-P and comedian Emily Panic, the text ‘JAIMILY 2010’ presented on the inner cushioning unit.

The collaboration is rumoured to land sometime in April, which would coincide with 4/20 - a big date for sneakerheads across the globe. Of course, the sneaker industry continues to be hamstrung by supply chain issues, so this date will potentially shift come 2023.
